1.
The sound of screeching wheels. Shattered glass that silenced her scream And as the warped steel deforms, Squeezing her bones She felt the warmth of her own blood Running down her cheek Another try to regain her conscious But the world went bleak Oh, the strength of metal impact with Her weak shell Pieces of glass that cracked and the pain of every cell Someone help me Someone help me Someone help me She screams. Someone out there? Someone out there? Someone out there? I yieled. And as the silence regained its reign Nothing disturbed the sound of rain And as an omen of rising tense She heard the sound of ambulance
2.
as they brought her into emergency room her only wish was to end the suffering and with the strength of impending doom the storm outside these walls was blustering Does the thunder resounds for her? Does the clock counts down moments live? She could’ve sworn that she saw the crow And her whole life she was ‘bout to give Is this it? My very end? Her life was sliping Like sand through hands The clock strikes The room fades. Cold in her bones pervades And when they asked her name She couldn’t speak. The guttural exclaim That was too weak.
3.
She found herself in the forest and took the path that seem the shortest And as the track lead her deeper She stopped in fear of raising reaper His haunting eyes And pitch-black cowl She tried to run, but the instead she falls. What made her face frozen with fear Was reaper that appeared more clear He raised his hand Pointing at her His braid has flashed in his eye that burned. And when she saw His evil smirk She yelled “Enough I'm already hurt” No empathy Behind his eyes No fear, no hope Only demise. No hope was left Thou he was dread she felt the the shivers as Grim reaper said:
4.
Confide in me. It won’t be hard. I will set you free from this wretched earth. For I am god I’m the only one The one that stands When everyone will be gone. I’m not ready yet. I beg the, spare my life. For I’m not worthy of your time. The price you’ll pay will be much worse For life is paid with someone’s curse. And if thou shall live, someone will die The choice is yours, you shall decide.
5.
She woke up to heart monitor sound Echoing through room Her head was aching as she looked around Sensing cheap perfume There was someone sitting in the corner She heard the weight of breath “He didn’t make it” - the stranger said “He was put to death” “The father of three and My only love Beloved by his friends Is now above And you survived When you should’ve died When your cars collide”. And with the sense of despair She tried to get out of the bed She raised her arm to hold her aching head. “I’m so sorry” she said, and as she reached for her legs She was horrified with what she saw there. An empty space an amputee Her shattered face and nothing below the knee. The woman stands She starts to cry And leaves the room without saying goodbye.
